ICRM Certification Testing
The Institute of Certified Records Managers™ (ICRM) is the international certifying organization of and for professional records and information managers.
The ICRM was incorporated in 1975 to administer and maintain the certified records manager (CRM) examination and it’s designation membership. The CRM exam is a six-part examination process which tests a candidate’s proficiency and body of knowledge in the records and information management field.
Prior to scheduling your exam appointment, you must have already received authorization from ICRM.
Paying with a Business Check, Money Order or Cashier’s Check
A CRM Examination Payment by Check form is required. This form can be found once you log on to the ICRM database. The menu down the left side of the screen has a link called “ICRM Forms.” If you have trouble accessing the form, please contact ICRM.
Appointments may be made through Pearson VUE online or over the phone.
You will be required to agree to the NDA Agreement (10.9 KB pdf) that will be presented at the beginning of your exam. Failure to read/accept the agreement within the allotted 5 minutes will result in your exam ending and a forfeit of your exam fees. Please take a moment to review the agreement now so that you are familiar with it when you sit for your exam.
